Who deserves grace? Who deserve a second chance? These can be difficult choices to make. The distinction between good and bad can be quickly become blurred.
The debate is currently raging throughout Victorian and Australian politics of how to deal with young offenders. There are reasonable arguments on both sides of these debates. Some highlight the importance of grace and forgiveness; others community safety.
Thankfully, we have a God who cares about every part of this world. And even better, as such decisions are beyond our wisdom, the ultimate decisions of who receives grace and gets a second chance are not up to us, but up to our Creator alone.
