  • Ep. 103: Rip Harambe
    2025/12/03

2016 was the greatest year of all time. In Episode Three, host Adam Beck gets emotional and tries to explain why even with deaths of such iconic cultural figures, it still was the best year of all time.

Death is uncomfortable. It is something we all must face, and in 2016 there was a lot of it. Prince, Harambe, and David Bowie all said there finals goodbyes. While yes this was tragic, but it is important to see 2016 as the year we began to pay homage to these figures and not the year we lost them. While they are gone, there impact is here to stay, to 2016 and beyond.

Adam loves 2016, and if you listen all the way though I'm sure you do to. Make sure to like, share, and leave a review. See you in 2016!

  • Ep. 102: The Greatest Year of Basketball Ever
    2025/12/02

2016 was the greatest year of all time. In Episode TWO, host Adam Best gets emotional and tires to explain what made 2016 the greatest year of basketball ever.

From Lebronto, and the 3-1 lead to the most iconic dunk contest of all time. This year had passion for all three levels of the game. High School Basketball had the ball brothers and Chino Hills taking the world by storm. College Hoops had one of the greatest finishes in March Madness history. AND the NBA was just at the peak of it's existence. Curry for MVP. 73-9 Warriors. Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine Dunk Contest. And how could you forget about Kobe's fair well tour.

Adam loves 2016, and if you listen all the way though I'm sure you do to. Make sure to like, share, and leave a review. See you in 2016!

  • Ep. 101: The Mannequin Challenge and Bottle Flipping
    2025/11/20

2016 was the greatest year of all time. In Episode One, host Adam Beck gets nostalgic and tries to explain two of the biggest trends of 2016, Bottle Flipping and The Mannequin Challenge.

These trends cultivated the perfect balance between internet trends and real life actions. You could produce a Hollywood level video production with the mannequin challenge and be considered the next George Lucas. You could also just flip a water bottle and be labeled as better than George Lucas. In this episode we highlight the two trends that I believe best define this year, not just in pop culture but in the outlook on life at the time.

Adam loves 2016, and if you listen all the way though I'm sure you do to. Make sure to like, share, and leave a review. See you in 2016!
