Serving the poorest of the poor, Brooke found herself in a difficult situation until a fellow American introduced her to someone from yet another country who spoke very little English.

You might imagine that this would add to her difficult situation, which it did for a little bit. But what happened next was something neither of them had in mind when they set out to serve.
