What l learnt whilst working in the hospitality industry ...

Working in hospitality teaches you skills you could not learn anywhere else.

 It teaches you about prioritising, about swift problem-solving, complex communication skills, about humility, and about how people act when they’re seriously hungry—FYI it’s generally like monsters—and how to keep a smile on your face despite all of this.
 
In short, working in hospitality teaches you real-life soft skills that you will carry throughout your entire life. You will have great experiences and you will have bad ones and you will even likely cry mid-shift (I know I have). 

But here are a few lessons I took away from my time sweating through a challenging shift and l what felt was like a lifetime in the hospitality industry.
