Today we're excited to have Sophie Thompson, the Founder of VirtualSpeech, on the show. VirtualSpeech utilizes virtual reality to help people prepare for situations that might cause social anxiety by, for instance, putting you in front of an audience of 3000 to give a speech. They can also help you train for something new, such as getting you ready to be deposed by lawyers or by immersing you in a foreign language to help you learn it quickly. The implications for education are quite large when you bring AI into the fold to help make living breathing characters to interact with. This may very well be the basis for education in the years to come. Imagine learning math with a virtual tutor right in front of you that meets you where you are in your journey!
