You asked, and I answered! What Do I Think About Health Trackers? How Do I Feel About Different Weight Loss Methods? How Much Water Should We Drink in a Day? I love your questions, and I love to talk. Sounds like a match made in heaven if you ask me. I did keep my answers short on this episode, and I have to tell you it’s well worth the fifteen minutes to give it a listen. SPOILER ALERT: I HATE TRACKERS. Okay, let’s call it a love/hate relationship. My husband gave me a tracker for Christmas. At first I loved it! I’d wake up and immediately go to the data to see “how I did” sleeping. I began to check the app several times each day. Yup, I got a little obsessed with the data. I can’t believe I’m going to tell you what happened next, but here goes, I allowed the data to dictate my mood. Here’s what I mean: if the app told me I slept great, then awesome, I was going to have a good day. If the app told me my sleep was poor and that I should consider resting, I knew it was going to be a rough day. I got so fixated on the app that I finally returned it. Yes, I am tracker-free, and my stress level is lower now. I will say that I did find some value in the data, and I wish I could use a tracker for a few days a month and then put it away. I also know that to get accurate data, you need to wear it consistently. Listen to this short episode to hear how I feel about how much water we should drink in a day. Air Dr. I've been using the Air Doctor air purifier for almost a year and absolutely love it! I first heard about it from Dr. Mark Hyman, and even though it was a bit of a splurge compared to what I usually spend, I'm so glad I invested. Every time I change the filter and see all the gunk it collects, I smile, knowing it's doing a great job keeping my air clean! And I'm so happy that all that gunk isn't going into my body. She was talking about the power of copper peptides to help reduce the appearance of scars. Since I have plenty of scars, I thought I’d give it a try. I used the GHK-Cu Serum on my scars and my face. Within days, the skin on my face became so much softer! And after a few months of use, my skin felt thicker and smoother. Bonus that my mastectomy scars also started to lighten!
