Kimberly and Cara both land on a hall of mirrors right out of the gate, and then find out they live on opposite ends of the thing. Kimberly barely uses mirrors at all, not even while brushing her teeth and not for self-reflection, and she realizes mid-sentence that she has never once written one into a script. Cara has spent a lifetime staring into them, and learned as a kid that she could dissociate into a mirror and warp the whole room around a single blonde eyebrow hair.
From there it travels to Alice, to a mirror Cara is still irritated she has not managed to fall through, to a trickster creature in a childhood episode of Lost in Space that Kimberly blames for her lifelong mirror suspicion and to why actors cannot stand watching their own footage. Then Kimberly sets one up and Cara spikes it: use the mirror as a verb, not a noun. Whatever mirrors you is the thing.
The "Is It Just Me?" lands on patterns. Take right and wrong off a situation and there are only three or four of them, repeating fractally, forever. Which is why the patterns be patterning.
