概要

On December 17, 2025, Midlothian Police received a call from a woman who identified herself as a friend of Jones. The woman expressed concerns about Dondlinger's behavior toward a 5-year-old child living in Jones' home.Officers contacted Jones and questioned her. According to court documents, Jones confessed to committing serious offenses against the child and stated that Dondlinger had directed her actions. She told police she sent video evidence to Dondlinger via Snapchat. On March 4, 2026, an Ellis County grand jury reviewed the evidence and issued formal indictments. Jones was indicted on 19 felony counts. Dondlinger was indicted on 20 felony counts. The charges are among the most serious in the Texas penal code. The indictments show that the alleged offenses occurred almost daily from December 5 through December 17, 2025. 12 consecutive days. All charges involve a single victim.Following the indictments, both suspects' bonds were dramatically increased. Jones' bond went from $90,000 to $3,840,000. Dondlinger's bond went from $200,000 to $5,000,000. A combined total of nearly $9 million. The Midlothian Independent School District confirmed Jones had worked as a substitute teacher but emphasized she had worked only four days in the past year. Midlothian Assistant Chief of Police Scott Brown stated: "She was employed in our local school district, and this has no connection with her job as a teacher. There is no nexus between her work in education in this case."Investigators confirmed the alleged offenses did not take place at district schools and did not involve any students from the district. Jones is no longer employed by the district. Both Jones and Dondlinger remain in custody at the Wayne McCollum Detention Center in Ellis County, awaiting trial. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty. If convicted on all counts, both face the possibility of multiple life sentences under Texas law.FAIR USE DISCLAIMER:This video is created for educational and commentary purposes under Fair Use (17 U.S.C. § 107).
