 In dieser Folge spekulieren wir (ohne Gast), was wohl mit dem Image Japans passieren würde, wenn das Land näher an uns dran wäre. Was, wenn die Berichterstattung so wäre, wie sie zu anderen europäischen Staaten ist, und man schlicht mehr über das Land in den traditionellen Medien lesen und hören würde? Unsere Hypothese lautet: Umso näher uns das Land rücken würde, desto schwerer die Arbeit derjenigen, die die Marke Japan pflegen. Um diese Vermutung zu untermauern, behandeln wir einige "Markenschädlinge", also Seiten Japans, die die japanbegeisterte deutsche Öffentlichkeit nicht auf dem Schirm haben mag, die aber bei Teilen dieser Zielgruppe nicht gut ankommen würden.
