In today's episode, Brett shares his story about his weight loss journey. He states that successful healthy meal preparation, particularly sous vide cooking, helped him lose weight.
Sous vide cooking is a technique that involves sealing food in an airtight container and then cooking it in temperature-controlled water. Compared to traditional cooking methods, this method uses fewer oils and fats, which can help reduce the amount of oil that people consume. To achieve his goal, he was focused on heavy weight lifting, high-Intensity Interval Training (HITT), or cardiovascular exercises.
In addition, he watches the food he eats to keep his calories down. Brett believes that traditional weight-loss methods such as the keto diet, cabbage soup diet, and low carb diet can slow down a person's metabolism. These methods do not help maintain healthy body weight and only cause the body to freak out. They are unhealthy ways to lose weight.
