TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:Isaiah 55:8–9
[8] For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. [9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (ESV)
SUMMARY
We reflect on Isaiah’s claim that God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours and invite listeners to rest in that truth as the day ends. Through prayer and reflection, we trade the urge to control for the steadiness of trust in God’s care.
