Have you ever crawled into bed completely exhausted, only to wake up just as tired? I know that feeling. As a mom raising children with chronic illnesses, I’ve spent nights in hospital rooms, slept in chairs, and learned that exhaustion isn’t just physical. It’s soul deep its mental and an emotional.
In this episode, I’m sharing simple rhythms that God showed me to use and that helped to restore me, not by changing my circumstances, but by changing how I cared for my soul. If you’ve are exhausted and burnout then this episode is for you.
Here a Three Actionable Steps i want you to practice when you are facing crisis with your child no matter what it may be.
Rhythm #1: Pause Before You Pour
Before checking your phone…daily run to the Source of Iife- we cannot do life without him to recharge your soul battery in the Word even if this 10 mins of devotion and prayer.
Ask him for help.
Rhythm #2: Find One Sacred Moment
Not an hour, Five minutes, Sit outside.
Drink your tea slowly, Read one verse. Listen to worship music.
God can do incredible work in small moments offered with an open heart.
Rhythm #3: Release One Burden
Ask yourself:
“What am I carrying today that God never asked me to carry?”
Write it down.
Then surrender it in prayer.
Soul Care Challenge
For the next three days…
Create one five-minute rhythm of rest.
That’s it.
No perfection.
No guilt.
Just consistency.
Notice how your heart begins to breathe again.
Takeaway
Rest isn’t abandoning your responsibilities.
It’s allowing God to restore the one carrying them.
