I was headed to Montreal in early May for a UFC fight and the idea of Troubadour Collective was still a very rough idea. It was cold and raining that weekend so I headed into the Metro stations hoping to find some talent. Montreal actually has an official busking program run by the STM called Musicians in the Metro. There are several designated busking areas in the stations designated by a lyre symbol on the wall. I wasn't fortunate enough to find anyone playing in those locations but I did run across Trevor. He was playing in one of the tunnels that lead to the Bonaventure station. Trevor was cooler than a polar bears toe nails, very laid back and went with the flow. The tunnel he was in had some unique acoustics and I really liked his setup, the suitcase is a kick drum! This was only the second recording I ever did and the first outside of Austin and the United States. Enjoy y'all!
