Is it possible to know more about God while experiencing less of Him? Many believers spend years accumulating biblical knowledge yet struggle to experience the peace, freedom, and transformation promised in God's Word. This message reveals why this is so and how true spiritual growth begins with the practice of God’s word and complete dependence on His mercy.

In this series, Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches believers how to experience deliverance from the afflictions of life by truly looking to God and waiting on Him. He uncovers the danger of being trapped in a constant search for knowledge, explaining the true purpose of practising the Word and the need to trust in God’s sufficient mercy as we obey. He also explores the concept of the ‘flesh’, how to surrender it to God, and the need to ultimately repent of false beliefs and evils in order to come into faith.

In this message titled “Trusting in Mercy,” Pastor Jeffrey Walter explains that although doctrine is essential, it is only the beginning of the Christian journey. True spirituality comes from putting God's Word into practice and refusing to hide behind the excuse of needing "more knowledge." He explains why we often make this excuse and why we must practice doctrine. He also explores the attitude we must have as we do so, as well as the assurance that should sustain us throughout the journey.

Beloved, as you listen to this message, may you begin to practice the truth you already know, trusting in God's mercy instead of your own ability to obey perfectly. May you discover the peace, freedom, healing, and spiritual maturity that come from a life fully surrendered to Him.
