Are you carrying the invisible weight of caregiving and wondering how much longer you can keep gong? In this episode of Clothed in God's Strength we'll discover faith based rhythms to navigate chronic stress without losing yourself in the process. If you are raising a child with sickle cell disease, type 1 diabetes or any other chronic illness, you know the emotional toll of medical uncertainty, sleepless nights, hospital stays and constant responsibility.
Today's conversation will help you move from survival to spiritual renewal by embracing God's strength instead of relying on your own. You will learn rhythms that will calm your mind, restore your heart and renew your hope in the midst of medical chaos.
Scriptures include
Proverbs 32 v 25 "She is clothed in strength and dignity, she can laugh at the days to come."
Philippians 4 v 6-7 "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving make your requests to God."
3 Simple Rhythms to beat Chronic Stress
1. Release your burdens through prayer
Give your worries to God daily and stop carrying what belongs to him. Name what drains
2. Practice rhythms of Rest
Rest is obedience not weakness and small pauses can create big renewal.
3. Replace fear with Truth
Speak Gods promises over your situation and let faith be louder than fear. This is all based on the REST - framework
Release what drains you
Exhale - just let go of all the burdens
Surrender and trust in God
Truth- Turn to God, what does God say about who you are?
Reflection Question
