Oftentimes in life, we long for a change in the situations that afflict us and claim to be looking up to God for deliverance. But do we truly look up to Him, or are we still trying to control the outcomes of our circumstances? Are we truly able to believe that the Lord is always present and helping us in these times? Until we genuinely look up to Him in the midst of the storms of life, we cannot receive from Him the change we desire.

In this series, Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches believers how to experience deliverance from the afflictions of life by truly looking to God and waiting on Him. He uncovers the danger of being trapped in a constant search for knowledge, explaining the true purpose of practising the Word and the need to trust in God’s sufficient mercy as we obey. He also uncovers why we often fail in doing so, and shows how surrendering our will brings us into the state of genuinely waiting on Him. Ultimately, he urges us to strive to attain this blessed state of awareness, where we are awakened to God’s constant presence.
