概要

Charles Spurgeon, a renowned Baptist minister in mid-Victorian London, captivated audiences with his powerful sermons, leaving an indelible mark on countless families both locally and beyond. Finding a venue large enough to host his growing congregation was a challenge, often leading to the use of the Royal Surrey Gardens Music Hall, which could accommodate 10,000 attendees, yet still left many outside longing to hear his words. His legacy is felt today through the numerous churches established, the missionary efforts launched, childrens charities founded, and theological colleges created as a result of his ministry.
