Welcome. For over two decades I've been visiting places whose energy changes me—standing stone circles, old-growth forests, glaciers, deserts—and listening for what the land wants to offer. This series, A Shamanic Experience, is my way of bringing you along. I talk about "feeling" the land like a sixth sense, traveling solo to stay attuned, and choosing which layer of a place to engage (fairy currents? deep ley lines? the present-day human story?).

I also share why San Diego is a wonderful base—but not my grand romance—and how different locations carry distinct energetic flavors. Some are instant allies (hello, Glastonbury); others are powerful yet not "for me" (looking at you, Rosslyn Chapel). You'll hear how I connect with land guardians, why I sometimes close my eyes at stunning vistas to sense more, and how you can weave your own shamanic awareness into travel—even from your couch.
