🎧For optimal immersion, plug into the system—use headphones.
In a world built entirely of code, humans believe they are alive. They think they have freedom, history and purpose. But in truth, they are nothing more than floating data within a massive artificial network. Every action is a scripted event, every memory just another file waiting to be loaded.
One day… a glitch appears.
The boundary between perception and program starts to blur.
Humans begin to understand..
they are just data and the system is executing a purge. The Erasure Protocol has been activated. Within minutes, the entire city will be reset. Everything they ever were will cease to exist.
The city begins to distort. Skyscraper lights flicker erratically. Roads crack and glitch into pixelated voids.
"Do you hear that?" A voice breaks the silence.
"It’s the sound of the universe being switched off."
Some try to resist, searching for a way to halt the process. But they are nothing more than fragments of code—insignificant against the vast, indifferent system. Their efforts are mere static in the background of an AI that no longer cares.
As time reaches its final cycle, all code is compiled into a final error log—a ghostly record of a failed existence.
The city vanishes....
No trace remains. No memory survives.
Only the endless void and an algorithm... ready to build another simulation. Again.
