Have you ever felt like you’ve messed up so badly that you wanted to hide from God?
Maybe you’ve believed the lie that God could never forgive you…
Tonight, we’re exposing that lie with the truth of God’s Word.
In this episode, we walk through the life of King David—a man who committed adultery, orchestrated a murder, and yet, after true repentance, was still called a man after God’s own heart. We’ll explore the difference between conviction and condemnation, how guilt and shame keep us hiding, and why Jesus invites us to step into His light instead of remaining in darkness.
I’ll also share a personal testimony from my own life about trying to hide my mistakes from my earthly father—and how it reminded me that there’s nowhere we can hide from our Heavenly Father. Yet instead of meeting us with rejection, He meets us with grace, mercy, and forgiveness when we truly repent.
Tonight we’ll discuss:
✨ Why shame and guilt make us hide from God
✨ How the enemy uses condemnation to keep us bound
✨ The difference between conviction and condemnation
✨ King David’s journey from guilt to restoration
✨ How Jesus sets us free from shame through repentance and His grace
📖 Key Scriptures:
• Psalm 32
• Psalm 51:17
• Psalm 139:7-12
• John 8:12
• John 10:10
• Hebrews 9:14
• 2 Samuel 11-12
No matter what you’ve done, God’s grace is greater. If He forgave David, He can forgive you too. Your past does not have the final word—Jesus does.
I’d love to hear from you in the comments:
