The Italian data authority, the GPDP, has issued a sanction against ChatGPT, the famous chatbot from OpenAI. It accuses the company of not complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in collecting the data that feeds its algorithm, of not verifying the age of the tool's users, and of having suffered a data breach.
