Maine State Representative Steve Bishop joined Corenna and David Quirk for a wide-ranging conversation about state and local issues affecting communities, taxpayers, businesses, and property owners across Maine.

Bishop discusses rising state valuations and property taxes, including questions surrounding municipal spending and revenue sharing. He also takes a closer look at Maine’s transportation funding, the recent funding shortfall, LD 1804, motor vehicle sales tax revenue, and his concerns about how money moves between the Highway Fund and General Fund.
