Today’s show was all about connection, community, and celebrating local pride.

Since it was Make a Friend Day, we asked:
Is it harder to make friends as an adult?

Listeners called and messaged in with stories about meeting friends through work, their kids’ activities, church, and even random everyday moments. We talked about how friendships look different as adults — fewer friendships maybe, but often deeper ones.

We also spread a little love by giving away gift certificates to Roma Italian Restaurant in Idabel! Nothing brings people together like great food, and we had some excited winners ready for pasta night.

One of the highlights of the morning was having MACE on the show — the TikTok influencer known for showing up at high school sporting events and shining a spotlight on local athletes and school spirit.

He shared:

• How he got started promoting high school sports

• Why supporting kids and small-town athletics matters

• What it’s like traveling from game to game capturing those big moments

It was a great conversation about positivity, encouragement, and giving young athletes the recognition they deserve.
