  • Combining US & Israeli Militarily? What is NDAA section 219? an Interview with David Pyne
    2026/08/06

On this episode of Goon Tavern we have an amazing interview with David Pyne who is an expert, not only in military defense, but also has vast experience from working in Washington with the department of defense. In this episode we tackle the controversial topic of new legislation that was just recently passed by the house. H.R. 8800, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027, includes Section 219—a provision that has raised concerns and drawn criticism across the political spectrum. Supporters may view it as a practical way for the United States and Israel to cooperate on advanced military technology, but critics are asking important questions about national sovereignty, taxpayer accountability, and the security of American-developed defense systems. Could this type of cooperation create risks if sensitive technology is later shared or transferred beyond America’s trusted allies? With changes to the structure of U.S. military assistance to Israel, could joint development become an indirect way for Israel to benefit from American-funded technology without receiving traditional military aid? And does questioning these policies amount to legitimate scrutiny of government decisions, or are critics too quickly dismissed as anti-Israel or anti-Semitic? These are difficult but fair questions—and in this episode, we’ll examine the facts, the arguments, and what Section 219 could mean for America’s future.

  • Separation of Church and State: Why the Church has adopted the lie
    2026/07/08

On This Episode of Goon Tavern,

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we take a deep dive into the nation's remarkable history, its founding principles, and the role Christianity played in shaping the Republic. We examine the beliefs of many of the Founding Fathers, the influence of biblical principles on America's founding documents, and the Christian foundations behind many of the nation's earliest colleges and universities.

But this episode isn't just about looking back—it's about looking forward.

We discuss why many Christians have withdrawn from the public square and what happens when the Church abandons its responsibility to be salt and light in the culture. Is political engagement compatible with the Christian faith? What does Scripture teach about our duty to stand for truth, justice, and righteousness in society?

We also address one of the most pressing issues facing families today: the influence of public education on children. We explore concerns many Christian parents have about the values being taught in today's schools, the long-term impact on the next generation, and why parents must take an active role in discipling and educating their children.

This conversation is a call to Christians to move from the sidelines into faithful engagement—not placing hope in politics, but recognizing that our faith should influence every area of life, including culture, education, and government. As America enters its next chapter, we ask what it will take for the Church to lead with conviction, courage, and biblical truth while helping preserve the blessings of liberty for future generations.

"Whosoever shall introduce into public affairs the principles of primitive Christianity will change the face of the world.”

    – Benjamin Franklin

"The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected, in one indissoluble bond, the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.”

    – John Quincy Adams

  • Redeemed Whores
    2026/06/10

On this episode of Goon Tavern,

Tackle a overlooked topic of content creators from OnlyFans and the Porn industry. In recent years, several former OnlyFans creators and adult-industry personalities have publicly professed Christian faith and quickly gained large platforms within Christian media. While Christians should celebrate genuine repentance and redemption, an important question remains: Are churches and Christian influencers exercising discernment before elevating new converts into the spotlight?

This episode examines whether the church applies the same standards of accountability to men and women when discussing sexual sin. Why are men often strongly rebuked for consuming pornography while women involved in creating it are frequently viewed primarily as victims? Has the rise of platforms like OnlyFans changed the conversation about personal responsibility?

We'll explore the tension between forgiveness, repentance, accountability, and celebrity culture in modern Christianity, asking whether these public conversion stories reflect genuine transformation, premature platforming, or something in between.

  • Conservative Civil War?
    2026/05/14

On this episode of Goon Tavern, we tackle the growing discussion around the so-called “conservative civil war.”

We dive into the lasting influence of Donald Trump, the battle between the neoconservative establishment and the America First movement, and whether today’s Republican Party is drifting back toward the foreign policy strategies associated with George W. Bush. With rising tensions involving Iran and the Middle East, we ask whether conservatives are returning to older interventionist policies or charting a new course altogether.

We also discuss the Republican party platform on becoming softer on issues like traditional marriage and abortion, and what role Christians should play in holding the Republican Party accountable to the values it claims to defend.

Most importantly, we wrestle with a bigger question: What does it truly mean to be conservative — and are we actually conserving anything in the first place?

At the end there's a call of encouragement for churches and church members, to become more involved in politics rather than allowing pagans to decide the fate of our nation.
