Victorious records the true story of a little girl's battle with an aggressive brain tumor through the personal lens of her mother's journal. Told primarily through direct journal entries, listeners are ushered into the heart of a mother whose world is shattered overnight when her previously healthy ten-week-old daughter is diagnosed with a rare brain tumor.
This diagnosis begins a twenty-one month battle for life. Yet, in spite of the continual threat of darkness, the story is permeated with light, with love and even with joy. Listeners are welcomed into a story of victory that ends in a paradoxical triumph.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Katie is an emergency room nurse with a B.A. in psychology. She is pursuing certification as a biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). She has a passion for helping others see God's abundant love and goodness, starting with those within her own home. She lives in Avon, Ohio, with her husband and two boys and is an avid reader and writer.
