概要
This pseudo-theological narrative chronicle details the spiritual journey of a man named Glen, who is called to become The Fryer, a prophet of viscosity and fried food. Included among the significant issues and events are The Fryer’s initial revelation, a growing understanding of the doctrine of Grease as the memory of heat, the establishment of the secret society known as The Order of the Greasy Spoon, and his ritual performance of The Fifteen Sizzlings.
Glen experiences a profound conflict with the sterile Dry Ones, an inevitable immersion in The Dark Night of the Stove, and an eventual physical encounter with the ordinary yet divine figure of Frank, who teaches him that true holiness resides in the quiet, messy act of everyday cooking. Ultimately, The Fryer realizes his ministry is not about grand pronouncements but the simple, shared Feast of Final Breakfast, demonstrating that life’s meaning is found in practical effort and human connection.
