あらすじ・解説
A rollicking story of racetrack characters struggling with moral dilemmas, large and small, all revolving around free-spirited Louisa Ferncliff as she trains her last best horse, Alice's Restaurant.
Louisa Ferncliff is a fixer. She fixes horses with scrambled eggs for brains and counsels lost souls on the backstretch of the racetrack. But her own life is a mess of impulsive decisions. Now, as she limps towards retirement with a quirky horse and an unethical protégé, she gets a surprising second chance at happiness. The action takes place in the authentic setting of the backstretch at Colonial Downs racetrack.
