Driving home for Christmas has never been more dangerous…

As the snow falls, Ava finds herself wondering again why she’s decided to visit her mother. They’ve not spent Christmas together in years, but her mother’s latest letter made her feel worried. Perhaps it’s time to bury the hatchet… She’s not told her she’s coming though. It’ll be a nice surprise.

But pulling up to the picture-perfect cottage, in the absurdly romantic Cotswolds village where her mother lives, something feels wrong. There are no lights on. And her mother’s nowhere to be seen.
