Rika had no idea that I could charge at Rika grab Rika and put Rika on the ground before Rika knew what had happened. I did not mean to scare Rika. Control and power were very appealing. I did not want to enjoy it because it made me sick. Because of that I became Damon. I became scared. Tightened my grip on the bar while taking deeper breaths. This was not like me. Rika raised her eyes.
Looked around her before saying, "I know that you are here."
The stubborn look in Rikas eyes was fake and I smiled behind my face lifting the corner of my mouth. Rikas long gray t-shirt fell off her shoulder and rain sparkled on her chest and neck. Meridian City was being pelted by rain outside and at this time of night the streets in this area were empty. Rika would not be heard. It is likely that no one saw Rika come into the house.
Rika started to leave the poorly lit room, which showed that Rika was just starting to get it. I moved forward.
Rika turned her head to the left to follow the sound of the grinding floor. Rika looked at me. As I went up the stairs I could not. Stare at Rika. "Kai?" Rika asked. Rika likely thought, "Why does Kai not respond to me? Why is Kai wearing a mask? Why are the lights not on? Because of the storm? What is going on?" I kept quiet as I slowly walked up to Rika.
