Probably my favourite historical romance

I have enjoyed lots of Laura Kinsale books, they always keep me on my toes, they are witty, well written and surprising. This one is my favourite of them all, because it lacks the big painful misunderstandings and struggles of her other books, this one I want to hear again as soon as I finished, I want to buy it for my bookshelf. Such a lovely happy book.
