Today's show starts with a look into the exotic world of underwater sex - between octopuses. The octopus is a solitary creature until it's time to mate. A Scientific American blog article reveals what really happens when the creatures need to get down. In a Seattle aquarium, a pair was joined together in a very public fashion with onlookers observing 16 arms and 4,000 suckers as the couple entwined. After four-plus hours, the octopuses were released back into Puget Sound to lay eggs in the wild, and then, sadly, each animal - as is the standard octopus destiny - died soon after mating. What a love story!

Next, Susie profiles author Hanne Blank's new audiobooks: Virgin: The Untouched History, Straight: The Surprisingly Short History of Heterosexuality, and Big, Big Love: A Sex and Relationships Guide for People of Size (and Those Who Love Them). Susie talks about Blank's unique approach to writing how-to sex books. And we'll hear an audio sample with narrator Johanna Taylor from Big, Big Love that deals with the myths associated with people of size. Hint: size doesn't stop many people from having great sex!

A female listener writes in about a problem with her babysitter: "After a night out with my husband, when returning home, we found our babysitter in the middle of the act, rolling on the floor in the kitchen with a teenage boy. I'm not a prude, but yikes!"
