We talk honestly about why listening can be challenging, what gets in the way, and how becoming a better listener requires more than simply staying quiet while someone else talks.

Together, we explore what it looks like to slow down, stay curious, and listen for the experience underneath the words. Because listening isn't just about gathering information—it's about helping the other person feel heard, understood, and valued. Whether it's with your wife, your kids, or the people closest to you, learning to listen can change the way you connect. And like everything we talk about on On The Journey, this isn't about getting it perfect. It's about recognizing where we struggle, practicing something different, and continuing to grow into healthier, more emotionally mature men.
