We'll talk about being selective about who influences you, developing an appetite for truth instead of just tolerating it, and what it means to be "planted" the way Psalm 1 describes, roots first, growth underground, long before anything is visible to anyone else.

In Episode 2 of Men Like Trees, Kasan and co-host Yesares dig deeper into the cost of seeking approval, this time through the stories of Judas and Peter, two disciples who both caved to the pressure of the moment, in very different ways.

We'll unpack why approval doesn't discriminate. It tempts the disciple closest to Christ just as easily as the one furthest from Him. Then we bring it into modern terms with the story of John Proctor from The Crucible, a man who had to decide whether his name, and ultimately Christ's name, was worth more than his life.

This episode is about the decision every man eventually has to make: will you preserve the name of Christ, or trade it for the approval of the people around you?
