About Tia Levings: Tia Levings is a writer, speaker, and New York Times bestselling author. Her memoir, A Well-Trained Wife, chronicles her escape from Christian Patriarchy and spotlights the realities of Christian fundamentalism, evangelical patriarchy, and religious trauma. Her work has appeared in Teen Vogue, Salon, the Huffington Post, and Newsweek, and her story was featured in the hit Amazon docu-series Shiny Happy People. Her second book, I Belong to Me, is forthcoming in May 2026. She is based in North Carolina, where she is a mother to four adult children.
