A major announcement from the number one syndicated show on TV: ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ is suspending its longtime announcer Jim Thorton after it was “made aware of allegations” stemming from an American Airlines flight back in May. The details are scarce, but reportedly a fellow passenger on Thorton’s flight complained about him to a flight attendant, who then alerted the pilot, who then called law enforcement. Thorton’s reps have denied that he engaged in any illegal conduct and said police determined there was no wrongdoing within five minutes of talking to him.
