🇯🇵 1945 — Japan Formally Surrenders Aboard the USS Missouri, World War II officially ends. The ceremony marks the close of six years of global conflict and the beginning of reconstruction, peace, and a new world order.

🇻🇳 1945 — Ho Chi Minh Declares Vietnamese Independence Quoting Jefferson’s “All men are created equal,” Ho Chi Minh proclaims the Democratic Republic of Vietnam — the birth of a new nation and the beginning of a long struggle for sovereignty.

🕊️ 1969 — Ho Chi Minh Dies Exactly 24 years after declaring independence, Vietnam’s revolutionary leader passes away in Hanoi. A symbolic closing of the chapter he opened on the same date.
