Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust the Lord With Your Way: A Prayer for Guidance Today Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Three Prayer Themes: Help • Guidance • Confidence Scripture — Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV) “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” PASTORAL PRAYER The morning is moving now, and perhaps the things you were thinking about earlier have become real. The phone is ringing, work has started, responsibilities are waiting, and you may be facing a decision you do not know how to make. You have asked God for courage; now you can ask Him for wisdom. Jesus, we pause again and bring You what is in front of us. Sometimes we want every answer before we take the next step, but Proverbs reminds us that trust comes before understanding. So help us not to depend entirely on what we can see or work out for ourselves. Teach us to place our way into Your hands. We pray today for people in Singapore, Japan and South Africa, and we ask You to guide families, workers and communities across these nations. We remember Germany, Kenya and Austria too. Give wisdom to those making important decisions, strength to those carrying responsibility, and confidence to those who feel unsure about what comes next. Holy Spirit, lead us gently. When we are tempted to rush, give us patience. When we are afraid of choosing wrongly, give us wisdom. When our confidence is low, remind us that Jesus is beside us. Señor Jesús, guía nuestros pasos. Senhor Jesus, dá-nos sabedoria. Panginoong Jesus, gabayan Mo kami. We may not see the whole road today, but we can trust the One who does. Lord, make our path straight as we follow You, one faithful step at a time. Amen.
