The Sun-Catcher ☀️🌳🔧
“Some people go through a forest and see no firewood.”
Snaggleton has a big problem. The village has run out of wood, and without fire there is no hot food, warm bathwater, bubbling potions or steam for Sparky’s machines!
In this funny kids story podcast, the Terrible Trio head into the forest to chop down a giant tree. But the tree turns out to be a furious Treant who warns them that the forest cannot keep giving away wood forever.
Back in Snaggleton, everyone complains about the blazing hot sun. Then Stanky spots something surprising: an egg is actually frying on a hot stone! He suddenly realizes that the villagers are surrounded by heat. They just have to find a way to use it.
With Sparky’s help, the villagers build a Sun-Catcher using shiny plates, shields and glass. Soon they are boiling water, cooking sausages and powering machines using sunlight instead of chopping down trees. This clever fantasy story for kids is about looking at problems in a new way, using what is already around you, and finding smarter ways to protect nature.
