Welcome back, friend. I'm Julia Cartwright, and I'm so glad you're here with me today. Look, I know it's Friday morning, and your inbox probably looks like a small fire broke out in it overnight. Your to-do list is probably wearing a to-do list. So before we dive in, I just want you to know that what we're about to do together is going to help you find some real clarity in all that noise. Let's settle in. Go ahead and find a comfortable seat, maybe one where your feet can touch the ground. You don't need to sit like a pretzel unless that makes you happy. Just somewhere you feel supported. Take a moment to notice what's around you right now. What do you see? What sounds are nearby? Just notice them like you're a curious observer, not a judge. Now let's start with some simple breathing. Breathe in slowly through your nose for a count of four. Feel your belly expand like you're filling a balloon with calm. Hold it for just a moment. Then exhale through your mouth for a count of six. Let it go like you're releasing all that mental static. Again, in for four, and out for six. One more time, really feeling that rhythm. Here's what we're going to practice today, and I call it the Intention Reset. This is your secret weapon for getting focused when everything feels scattered. I want you to imagine your mind is like a snow globe that someone just shook up. All these thoughts, all these worries, all these tasks are swirling around. Now imagine you're gently setting that globe down, and you're going to watch the snow settle. Don't try to stop it. Just let gravity do its work. Notice each thought as it drifts down like a snowflake. Some stick around longer than others. That's fine. Now, as your mind begins to settle, bring to mind just one thing. One single thing you want to accomplish today. Not five things. One. What's the one thing that matters most right now? Let that intention land in your mind like a stone settling into still water. Feel it. Don't force it. Just notice how different your mind feels when it's focused on that one point instead of everything at once. Take three more deep breaths with that intention sitting quietly in your heart. And gently, when you're ready, bring your awareness back to the room. Open your eyes if they've been closed. Notice how different you feel. Here's what I want you to carry with you today. Every time you feel that scattered feeling creeping back in, pause and ask yourself, what's the one thing? One intention. That's your anchor. That's your productivity superpower. Thank you so much for joining me on Productivity and Focus today. I hope this practice serves you well.
