Sometimes our differences lead us into disputes and conflict with others.
But how often is the conflict really necessary? Romans suggests an alternative path.
“If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” — from Romans 12:18
Instead of focusing on the differences, we focus on how to live well together, how to seek what is good for each other, and how to honor our differences as best we can.
Our differences aren’t going to disappear. But maybe our conflict can.
