Old Time Retro Radio presents Our Miss Brooks, “Plaque for Mr. Conklin,” originally broadcast on CBS on October 11, 1953. This is episode 218, also known as “Mr. Conklin Is Honored With a Plaque,” starring Eve Arden as Connie Brooks and Gale Gordon as Principal Osgood Conklin.

At Madison High, Conklin learns the Board of Education plans to recognize his service with a plaque. But when Walter Denton’s prank telegram closely resembles the real honor, Miss Brooks finds herself caught up in a delicate effort to keep the situation from becoming even more complicated.
