When the troubled actor-manager playing the murderous barber fears his stage role is bleeding into real life, Holmes investigates a disturbing mystery among the theatre’s backstage corridors and dressing rooms. Written by Anthony Boucher and Denis Green, this Mutual Broadcasting System drama was suggested by an incident in Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Adventure of the Yellow Face.”
