“When the elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.”
Rot-Belly the Ogre and Fleabeard the Goblin are both greedy leaders. Their people are getting tired of them, so the two bosses come up with a sneaky plan: make everyone angry at each other!
In this funny kids story podcast, their lies get sillier and sillier:
- 🌬️ Rot-Belly says the goblins are stealing the air.
- 👀 Fleabeard says the ogres are planning to attack.
- 🍞 Rot-Belly keeps eating everyone’s toad-toast.
- 💎 Fleabeard keeps all the Phlegm-Pearls for himself.
Soon, the ogres and goblins are ready to fight. But then the Scary Fairy appears. She asks a few simple questions and finds out that hardly anyone really wants a war. The ogres and goblins are just tired, hungry and doing what their leaders told them to do.
This funny fantasy story is about thinking for yourself, not believing every angry speech you hear, and talking to people before deciding they are your enemy. In the end, the ogres and goblins stop fighting, share their food and leave Rot-Belly and Fleabeard looking very foolish indeed!
