You will discover that sometimes the waves are not evidence that you are on the wrong path. The waves may be rising because you are on your way to your destination. The teaching challenges believers not to interpret opposition, pressure, delay, or difficult circumstances as proof that God has abandoned them. The episode also explores the believer's spiritual Capernaum in Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit, a place of security and comfort in God. Drawing from Romans 10:9–10, Hebrews 9:7, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 14:16, and John 10:10, the teaching examines how the finished work of Christ gives the believer spiritual security and how the abundant life of Christ is intended to manifest beyond the spiritual realm. Most importantly, this episode is a call to pray before and during the journey. Prayer does not necessarily remove every wave immediately, but it keeps the believer calm, composed, and anchored in the assurance that Jesus is with them. You will also be challenged to identify the “waves” that may be preventing people from coming fully into Christ, whether through relationships, finances, accommodation, mindsets, addictions, career pressures, or other forms of bondage, and to intercede for those whose spiritual journey is being hindered. The message is simple but profound: if Jesus is in your boat, the waves do not have the final word. As you listen, ask yourself: What area of my life is still on the sea? Where do I need to enter my “Capernaum”, a place of God-given security, comfort, and rest?
