- Warren signed the trail register at 11:47 a.m. on July 13 listing Arrowglass Lake (~7 miles) and return by July 14 at 3:00 p.m.
- The burning stove and pot of soup were found at 6:15 a.m. on July 14 by Ryan Novak 4.3 miles up the trail.
- The spoon was balanced on the pot rim at approximately a 45-degree angle pointing toward the tree line to the north.
- Two bloodhounds tracked north from the trailhead but stopped and sat twice at Arrowglass Draw, unable to continue the scent.
- A second trail register entry 43 minutes after Warren’s listed a white Chevy Blazer with no name and no license plate.
