Rach Z is joined by Division 1 Councilor Pye Augustine to preview the inaugural Colours of Ipswich Multicultural Unity Festival.
Taking place at Palmer Place on Saturday, 1 August, the festival will bring together cultures and traditions from across the Ipswich community while also celebrating Australia’s heritage.
Cr Augustine shares what visitors can expect, including live music, cultural performances, international food, a multicultural fashion parade, community services and a dedicated sports alley.
The entertainment program will feature Chinese drumming and a dragon dance, Indian and Malayalee drumming, Filipino dancers, and Indigenous, Ethiopian and Samoan performances.
