・涼む (すずむ) - To cool off; to enjoy the cool and rest. Equivalent to English "to cool off" or "to enjoy the cool air." Used like 「木陰で涼む」 (cool off in the shade) or 「縁側で夕涼みをする」 (enjoy the evening cool on the veranda). The noun 「夕涼み」 (yusuzumi) means evening-cooling.
