Welcome to the first episode of I Can Totally Do That! This podcast is where we explore careers and opportunities for people with disabilities from the perspectives of people with disabilities.
The first guest is Mason Shrader and he is a PhD student in archaeology at Brown University. He has cerebral palsy (CP).
In this fascinating episode, you will learn about Mason’s passion for archaeology and his educational journey leading up to his work towards a PhD in archaeology.
We talk about the challenges and successes that Mason has gone through while navigating his career with CP.
Mason leaves us with some very impactful advice about exploring a career that sparks your interest. He discusses his thoughts about how adaptable archaeology can be if that’s something that you want to pursue.
I am your host Alena Skinner and I hope you have enjoyed this episode and learned something new! Mason, you have shown us that you can totally do that and so can others.
