Thank you for joining us for Christian Faith Center’s Sermon of the week. This message is from our Nampa Location. Pastor Jordan continues our message series "THE MOUNT"
Matthew 5:3 NLT: "God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs."
We are taught to build our "spiritual resume" with good deeds and moral behavior. Jesus isn't talking about being "a little bit humble." He’s talking about being spiritually bankrupt. You don't get into the Kingdom by bringing something to God. You get in by admitting you have nothing to bring. In the Kingdom of God, if you are overqualified (full of yourself), you are disqualified.
