On this episode, in honor of Mother’s Day, we’re talking to Cindy Lake, mother of Brandon, Jordan, and Brianna.
Cindy shares stories from her childhood, how she met her husband Mac, and how she lived out motherhood while raising two boys and a girl. She also shares what she considers to be personal successes as a parent and ways she could have been more effective, and she offers advice for those in the thick of parenting.
Now, Cindy reflects on being a mother of adult children and the worldwide success of her oldest son, Brandon's music career, including her concern for him as someone made of flesh and blood like everyone else and how her "momma bear heart" responds when he faces public criticism.
At the top of the episode, Bri, Joey and Lynne share about their own mothers.
